Always had random issues with the service/app, recently I forget exactly when they did some kind of app update to give you profiles - immediately following that update the service is nearly impossible to use, switching tabs, trying to watch live tv, DVR, on-demand doesn’t matter constantly getting 3 different error codes, any of the 3 pop up when it happens. I had had them for almost a year and Sling has never been a rock solid issue-free performer so let’s start there. So that's just a bad experience for me you know? I want to watch something at 8pm tonight, so at 6pm I went through the rigamarole of getting tuned into the channel and have just had it running on mute for nearly 2 hours no problem. I generally can't even see the guide or search menu without repeatedly closing and restarting the app, refreshing the webpage and/or resetting my internet The problem is I'm constantly getting error messages just trying to navigate the menus in Sling. As do all my other streaming services, Disney+, Amazon, Hulu etc. I have no data capsĮTA: Once I get tuned into a channel or watching something I've DVRed, it runs fine. I have the issues with both the TV app and just running it through Chrome. My speed tests are usually about 300- 400 mpbs download and 15-10 mpbs upload on both devices. Both my TV and Desktop are hooked up with Ethernet cables to the box from my ISP. ![]() Nothing I've tried to access Sling through is running on the wifi.
